Group classes are offered at Beginner, Beginner-Intermediate, and Intermediate levels. Advanced dancers can continue with private dance lessons.

Office Manager and dance instructor

Liz Colson brings real stage experience to every class. She has performed with The Encore Musical Theatre Company in Dexter in Mary Poppins, Wizard of Oz, Carousel, White Christmas, Les Misérables, and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, and she played Young Bonnie in Bonnie and Clyde at both The Encore and Ann Arbor Civic Theater.

Liz also helps young performers grow behind the scenes. She is Associate Director of the Summer Theater Program at The Encore Musical Theatre Company, and she was part of the creative team for Saline High School's 2025 production of Mamma Mia.

Her own training includes dance at Dance Xplosion in Milan and Studio 3 PAC in Dexter, and voice with Marlene Inman in Dexter and Jane Panikkar in Saline. She brings all of it to her dance and movement classes at Ann Arbor Music Academy, in a welcoming setting for students and families.
